Man arrested for making away with $2k in Sungei Kadut industrial estate burglary

This dude thought he could get away with burglary in the very remote districts of Sungei Kadut industrial estate, but alas, it’s hard to escape the long arm of the law here.

The police had been tipped off about the theft at 6.30am on Monday, where around $2,000 in cash were stolen from the premises, Channel NewsAsia reports. The 56-year-old suspect was arrested the very next day at Choa Chu Kang Crescent, with cash amounting to $1,300 recovered from him.

If convicted, he faces up to 14 years in prison.
