Just because the government will no longer allow the number of private vehicles on Singapore’s roads to increase anymore doesn’t mean that things will be easier for existing motorists.
As per usual in the Land Transport Authority’s quarterly review of traffic conditions on roads and expressways, the Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates have been revised for certain gantries. Starting Nov 6, ERP rates will be increased by a dollar for the gantry on the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) and the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE).
Take note, motorists.

But since it’s close to the end of the year, ERP rates will likely fall very soon in the next review for the December school holidays.
