We thought we couldn’t love Viddsee, a Singapore-based portal for Asian films, more.
Turns out, they’re not done yet.
In addition to giving filmmakers from around the region a very good-looking platform to showcase their work to the masses, founders Ho Jia Jian and Derek Tan have come up with a Channels feature, which allows Viddsee to partner with film festivals like DigiCon6, First Take and Singapore Short Cuts.
This means, you’ll get to watch films screened at top-notch festivals like, say, the Chatomuk Short Film Contest, even if you’ve never been to Cambodia in your life, much less attended the event.
The homegrown startup is also screening some of award-winning director Anthony Chen’s past work, including G23, Homesick and Karang Guni.
That’s not all — adding to the existing 200 Asian titles on Viddsee’s roster are four new films Echo (Thailand/Singapore), Hajat (Malaysia), Paper Boxes (Singapore) and The Rapist (Philippines).

Pssst. Paper Boxes also happens to be Jia Jian’s baby.
Check it out on Viddsee.
