Yesterday afternoon, drivers along East Coast Parkway spotted a lorry on fire just before the entrance of the Marina Coastal Expressway. The Singapore Civil Defence Force were alerted to the incident at 1.35pm, and extinguished the flames engulfing the vehicle’s engine compartment with a hose reel.
The cause of the fire is unknown. Luckily, no one was injured.
