Yup, Singapore.

Re:solve is the first of its kind to be shot in the city state and is expected to release in the first quarter of next year.

The $1.2 million film will follow Serious Crimes Unit Inspector Chen Shaoqiang as he investigates a series of big-scale armed robberies and seemingly unrelated murders, which will force him to revisit his dark past as a member of the elite Special Tactics and Rescue (STAR) unit, during which a failed operation destroyed his team’s camaraderie.

Re:solve stars Taiwanese actors Chris Lee Chih Cheng and Mico Chang Wei Chun, alongside familiar faces such as Jimmy Wong, chief executive officer of forex institute JF Lennon, Pamelyn Chee, Sunny Pang, Zheng Ge Ping and Zhu Houren.
