The greatest honor for any cosplayers is official recognition by the makers of the character they’re portraying — and one lucky local got exactly that in this year’s halloween celebrations.
Not only did 30-year-old Ian Toh stitched up an awesomely accurate costume of Ant-Man, he also went the extra mile in his get up and actually rigged up his electric scooter to make it look like Antony; Any-Man’s loyal carpenter ant steed.

Such dedication to the craft of costume (his entire costume was handmade) was rewarded appropriately when Toh went on to score Zouk’s best dressed prize in their Halloween party. So he went home (presumably riding Antony all the way) with four business flights to Tokyo, $1,000 in cash, accommodations courtesy of Roomorama and a party experience.

That wasn’t all — the director of Ant-Man himself Peyton Reed praised Toh’s costume on Twitter. Toh responded by showing him a clip of himself riding away on Antony like a champ. Can’t wait to see what Toh has in store for Halloween next year.
@MrPeytonReed hi Mr Reed! Thanks for sharing! Now we know what happened to Anthony! He only lost his wings! pic.twitter.com/zZbDynCyh6
