As we’ve learnt from past examples, the marketing tactics of local companies can be bizarre as hell. Case in point — Toyogo Singapore, which have been providing inspirational quotes overlaid on images of their plastic buckets, drawers and basins.
Local air-conditioning specialists Aircon Arena Engineering Pte Ltd also have their own creative take on promoting their services. They provide repairs, maintenance and overhauls of faulty air-con units, as well as installation services, so it’s pretty hard to think up ways to differentiate their company from the many other similar ones around.
They manage, however. Knowing how the internet just loves its macro pictures of animals (cats, especially), the company’s marketing strategy involves posting memes of cute animals looking forlorn about problematic air conditioning.
