Buses at Hampshire Road and Tekka Lane began taking foreign workers back and forth Little India again on Dec. 22.
The shuttle service had been suspended for a week following the Little India riot, but has now resumed with half the number of scheduled buses and tighter operation hours.
According to TODAY, Race Course Road residents are happy with the current state of the neighbourhood. They claim the area is now quiet, clean and safe to move around in and several families have already taken to the field along the road to relax.
There are also reportedly fewer foreign workers taking the bus — those who do seem only to want to send money home or eat a meal with friends.
