Some of us use trolleys to carry our shopping load, but not one woman who has unlocked the secret of a hands-free technique.

People have been marveling over a woman spotted casually balancing a big red plastic bag on her head while waiting for a train this past weekend. She even browsed her phone and looked around with her hands behind her back as she did so. While carrying bulky items atop one’s head may be common in other places, it’s a rare sight in Singapore.

Throughout the clip filmed somewhat surreptitiously, the woman seems unaware or unconcerned with the attention she is receiving.

“Great balancing skill set,” the caption of the video posted by user Issac Cue said. It was posted to the Complaint Singapore group Saturday although it wasn’t a source of grievance.

Commenters praised her mad skills, suggesting that she could be an acrobat.

“Seems like she was an acrobat from China!” Chong Chee Seng wrote Saturday.

“Cannot believe you find this kind of balancing act in spore!” Deborah Tan wrote yesterday.
