The Singapore Sports Hub will play host to 13 sports and 11 entertainment events when it opens in April.
In the confirmed lineup now are major sporting events the World Club 10s rugby tournament (June), the highly anticipated Singapore and Malaysia football derby (August) and the WTA (World Tennis Association) Championships (October), as well as international acts Lionel Richie (April), Taylor Swift (June) and Jay Chou (November).
Not all of the $1.33 billion, 35-hectare project will be ready in April though — the National Stadium is only expected to complete two months after.
