It’s Our Year: Mini horsies on parade at the Singapore Zoo

Eight falabellas or miniature horses (yes, there is such a thing) will be parading at the Singapore Zoo this Chinese New Year weekend (Jan. 31 — Feb. 2).

Accompanied by their keepers, the horses are the attraction’s way of ringing in the festive season.

And if you can identify which skin belongs to which horse on the Wildlife Reserves Singapore’s Facebook page, you stand to win one of six prizes worth $400 each.

Known as the first and original miniature horse breed, the falabella is a purebreed and traces its roots back to Argentina. It is also widely considered to be prestigious and is highly prized by those who own them.
