According to Channel NewsAsia, the storms resulted in floods along Tampines Road, causing at least one car to break down and get towed away.
Water agency Public Utilities Board issued a flash flood warning at 12:12pm, and traffic was impassable due to flooding at Tampines Road opposite Jalan Teliti. The flood only subsided when the rain eventually stopped and conditions went back to normal.
