iPhone 6 rumoured to be available in Singapore this September

Singaporeans looking to upgrade their smartphones can look forward to the upcoming release of Apple’s latest gadget – the iPhone 6 – which might be available in stores here on Sept.19 according to leaked internal documents.

The leaked information was first published by German tech website Apfelpage, and repeated again on Singapore’s HardwareZone. According to HardwareZone, their anonymous sources have provided reliable launch dates in the past including iPhone launches of previous generations. The date coincides with past patterns of Apple’s launches – usually on a Friday in September. Singapore enjoys the same launch dates as the United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, France, China and the United Kingdom when it comes to new Apple devices.

The iPhone 6 is currently the most highly-anticipated tech gadget by Apple, with hordes of leaked information and gossip available online since the start of the year, all pointing out that there might be more than one new smartphone (both sporting much bigger screens), the new iOS 8 software and the launch of Apple’s own smartwatch.

All this and more to be confirmed at Apple’s press conference happening on Sept. 9 in their hometown of Cupertino, California.
