An interactive theme park featuring robot Hello Kitty comes to Singapore in June

Hello, Kitty. We can’t wait to see you again.

Thanks to Mighty Eight, the group who brought us the Hello Kitty Go Around carnival last October, Hello Kitty makes another pitstop on our shores just in time for the school holidays. This time, as Robot Kitty. Yup, you heard right. No more cute and cuddly — the iconic Sanrio character has turned sci-fi.

According to Channel NewsAsia, the event starts from Jun 10, so you’ll either wanna camp out at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, or avoid it like the plague. If you’re a fan, you’ll be psyched to know that the theme park lasts for 11 days and features five interactive gaming and photo-taking zones.

Upon entering, you’ll get a gaming card and a Robot Kitty Gaming Device Figurine. Use these as you make your way through the park and win points to trade in for accessories, which can be used to upgrade your figurine.

Oh, and we’re the first stopover for Robot Kitty in South-East Asia, after its travels to Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and Shanghai. Guess we’ve proven our love by the number of massive queues attached to every Hello Kitty event here.
