This week is Singapore’s first ‘Care-ousell week’, and things are topsy-turvy on the online marketplace. Instead of buying or selling stuff (and bargaining till the seller gets mad enough to ‘stomp’ you), perhaps you’d like to consider collecting a dose of good karma by donating to charities on Carousell.
A total of 24 organizations — including Feiyue Community Services, SPCA and Chen Su Lan Methodist Home — have put up their wish lists on the site, and members of the public can help out by contributing these items to the charities.
The giving week lasts till Apr 7, and already there are more than 380 wish list items, including ones like hair accessories, polaroid cameras, superhero toy figurines, toiletries, and art supplies. Not all the listings include a description of the charity and what the donated item will be used for, but if you’re curious, you can always contact them directly over Carousell chat.
