Ilo Ilo director Anthony Chen has plans to screen his award-winning debut film in Manila to help raise funds for the victims of Yolanda.
Chen is not just concerned for the victims in Tacloban but also in other areas, especially the province of Ilo Ilo, where Theresa, his former maid lives — her story depicted in his film.
Noticing the grief brought about by the storm after returning to the Phillipines, Chen said that relief efforts should not just be entirely focused on Tacloban but also on other areas where people are deeply affected.
