A track circuit failure on the North-South MRT line caused service delays on the morning of Feb. 24.
The fault was found between Jurong East and Kranji MRT stations and reported to SMRT engineers at 7:30am.
Repairs were completed by 8:32am and normal train service resumed.
According to Channel NewsAsia, commuters affected by the delays at Admiralty, Khatib, Sembawang and Yishun stations were offered free bus bridging services from 8:30 — 9:30am.
