You think only public officials get bribed? Think again.
Two hotel chefs say they will plead guilty to the charge of accepting money from Baker’s Heaven, a company that supplies cakes, breads and other pastries.
According to The New Paper, Chow Pak Chow of Hotel Grand Pacific and Patrick Yeo Gin Teck Gin of Bayview Hotel face 64 charges each.
The two had been accepting bribes from the couple since Nov 2008 until Jan 2014; Chow’s totald $14,420, while Yeo’s reached $5,225.
Both are now out a $20,000 bail.
If they do end up in jail, we predict some very lucky and well-fed inmates.
