Here’s where you can catch the announcement of election results with fellow party supporters

As the clock ticks closer to the end of voting period, what everyone’s waiting for is the announcement of the results itself which will take place around midnight.

Sure it’s cool to watch it from the comfort of your own home in your jammies, but take it from us, it’s a helluva lot more fun watching the results get announced together with other fellow supporters of your choice party. Thus the establishment of General Election Assembly Centres for Counting Night, where you can witness history in the making (or not) en masse.

Out of the 18 sites available for use as Assembly Centres, only four are being utilised tonight — three by the ruling People’s Action Party and one by their opposition Workers’ Party. Jinhua Kuek — the mastermind behind the Google Maps tool listing all election rally sites — has generously updated his map to list each Assembly Centre in detail, complete with directions. It’ll do you good to check it out in this last stretch of the 2015 General Election; stay tuned for the results.
