Changi Airport’s brand new Terminal 4 is set to open in the second half of the year, after more than two years of construction work. Offering over 80 retail outlets — including brands new to the airport such as Pazzion, Moleskine and WHSmith — the terminal will feature a new heritage-themed zone inspired by Peranakan shop houses, with stores like Bee Cheng Hiang, Bengawan Solo, Curry Times, Eu Yan Sang and Heavenly Wang.
This will also mark the first time Changi Airport’s liquor and tobacco zone in the transit area is combined with the cosmetics and perfumes zone for travelers to grab all their duty-free buys in one go.
Other facilities at the terminal include two multi-storey car parks, a two-storey taxi holding area, three vehicular and pedestrian bridges, and a 68m-high ramp control tower for better air traffic control.
But before Terminal 4 opens, here’s a little glimpse of its interiors.
