While most of us were were forced to stayed indoors to avoid the haze this weekend, someone took it upon themself to go out and have a good ol’ Singapore fling.
Residents of massive Tanjong Pagar mixed-use condominium The Icon woke up to an unusual one-page yellow notice paper at their doorstep on Sunday morning.
HELP, it said with a sad face emoticon. MISSING LAPTOP BAG.
“I left my laptop bag inside an Icon apartment on Friday night (4th Sep) / Saturday morning (5th Sep), AND I CAN’T REMEMBER THE UNIT NUMBER I WAS IN. (Emphasis ours). We won’t even ask what s/he was doing at The Icon — but it must have been one hell of a party.
“It’s a black Marc by Marc Jacobs laptop bag with a strap, with a Lenovo Thinkpad and charger inside. This is really important/ I would appreciate your help to return it.”
That bag must be really, really important to the owner: The Icon has two towers, 46 storeys and 646 residential units. Now if s/he delivered a letter to each and every unit in the building…well s/he should immediately quit her job and start a courier company. F**k that company bag and company laptop.
But hey, at the end of the day, we’re just a good soul that likes to help people in need.
