Vernetta Lopez will be playing a cameo role in the opening night (April 25) of Grease at Marina Bay Sands.
The veteran local radio and TV personality — in case anyone’s forgotten Lopez played Denise in hit sitcom Under One Roof — will be Rydell High’s DJ for the delightfully chaotic school dance segment.
In the scene, Lopez will be engaging audience in banter, playing some music and presenting dance winners with a trophy.
Following what seems to be overwhelming support for the hit musical in Singapore, new shows have since been added, with the Grease run extending till May 18.
