Okay, for those of you who are still drying up those tears you wept for the postponement of that much-anticipated ‘friendly’ match between us and our neighbours, you might find slight comfort in this.

Come Aug. 16, watch your favourite national football players come head-to-head with Juventus’s Carlos Tevez, Gianluigi Buffon and Andrea Pirlo.

Fans can purchase their tickets to the first-ever match to be played at the newly re-grassed National Stadium, or Sports Hub if you’d like.

Tickets can be purchased at Sports Hub Tix, prices start at $30 to $45 for children, and go up to $180 for adults.

Make it for the early bird promotion and receive a 10 percent discount on tickets, but with one little caveat: that Italy remains in contention at the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Brazil from June 12 to July 13.

Those who purchase a set of 11 tickets will stand a chance to observe the Juventus players training hard in the build up to the game.
