Seems like one GrabHitch driver allegedly carried out a mean prank on an unsuspecting lady that involved driving all the way to a cemetery road to pick up a non-existing passenger.
A Facebook post that went viral over the long weekend had a man claiming that a “psycho” GrabHitch driver took his girlfriend for a creepy ride to the vicinity of a cemetery, where the driver mentioned that a passenger was waiting to be picked up. Turns out, there wasn’t anyone — and the passenger called her boyfriend after realizing “something’s not right”. Who wouldn’t be disturbed after being driven out to a secluded spot in the middle of the night?
It was only after the call that the driver quickly exited the cemetery road and drove to an expressway, presumably frantic after his joke backfired (at least we assume it was a prank, based on how ridiculous the situation was).
“This has been reported to Grab,” wrote the boyfriend. “Even the customer service officer from Grab was freaked out seeing that profile picture.”
Here’s the profile picture in question, even though the driver was described as a “young guy in his mid-20s”.

According to a Grab spokesman, they’re currently investigating the case.
