Even if you don’t give two hoots about Singapore’s 51st birthday and all the National Day Parade shenanigans, this is one discount you can’t pass up (that is, if you’re an animal lover). For the entire month of August, the Singapore Zoo and River Safari (bundled into one) as well as Jurong Bird Park are offering 51 percent off all admission tickets.
During the week of National Day (Aug 5-8), the Singapore Zoo will also host a Kampong Mandai food fare showcasing traditional local street foods.
And from August 1, all Singaporean citizens and permanent residents who visit any of the four Wildlife Reserves Singapore parks on their birthday (or within seven days after) will get free admission, as long as a paying guest accompanies you. This new year-round promo definitely sounds better than the current one of free entry only on your exact birthdate.
