Get high on adrenaline at Bounce, the largest indoor adventure arena in Singapore

All you trampoline freaks can now rejoice — no more travelling to Jurong, Serangoon or Yishun for your jumping fix. ‘Cause there’s one right smack in the heart of town, and it’s staking its claim as the largest indoor adrenaline arena in the country.

The trampoline area

Sprawled across 24,000 sq ft, Bounce Singapore welcomes everyone from three-year-olds to adults, no matter your fitness level. With three zones ranked according to levels of difficulty, the urban playground consists of interconnected spring-loaded trampolines, an obstacle course for ninja wannabes, and a ‘leap of faith’ station.

For little ones with tons of energy to expend, the padded trampolines work great to train aspiring gymnasts or aerial acrobatic enthusiasts. A dodge ball court and a slam dunk area feature here, in case you get bored of just doing flips in the air. Plus, there’s the added bonus of exhausting, relentless cardio (yes, all that jumping up and down isn’t as easy as it looks).

Run up the walls if you’re as nimble as this guy

Now on to the obstacle course. Bounce Singapore is the first in Asia to offer X-Park, an indoor adventure challenge area with elements of climbing, jumping, free-running and flying down the aerial runway. If your competitive side is bristling at the thought of a race, you can purchase a Radio-Frequency ID band at the reception to track your timings on the video wall.

We only wish we could be as quick on our feet

Believe you can fly? Take the ultimate jump at the ‘leap of faith’ station, where you’ll get to hurl yourself off a raised platform to catch a grab bag in front of you. Our knees are already wobbly just thinking about it.

Other facilities include the South 38 cafe, which serves up sandwiches, muffins, milkshakes and coffee, fitness classes to be launched at a later date, party rooms, lockers, a merch corner and free Wi-Fi. Oh, and remember to dress in proper attire, or you won’t be allowed in. All participants have to buy a pair of Bounce Grip socks ($3) before entry.
