Leave the odds to ChatGPT? A Singaporean man hit the lottery jackpot recently after betting on AI-generated numbers recently.
TikTok user Aaron Tan posted photos of his latest TOTO winnings for May 4 using seven numbers produced by the next-gen chatbot.
“Decided to ask CHATGPT for a set of nice 7 numbers for 5/4/23[.] Draw and it did strike! 😱😱😱 Thanks CHATGPTcaishenye🥇,” he wrote in the caption.

Though Tan said he won S$50, the winnings stated on Singapore Pools’ site is S$40 instead.
TOTO works when betters choose up to 12 numbers and hits the ultimate jackpot if all numbers match the winning ones.
“Pls give me 7 numbers from 1 to 49,” Tan asked in ChatGPT, which generated the following numbers: 12, 21, 28, 36, 42, 44 and 47.
The winning numbers announced were: 16, 21, 25, 28, 37, 44, and an additional number 24.
Three numbers matched.
The jackpot for the first prize was S$2,900,792.
A commenter joked that the winning numbers could have been generated by the chatbot as well.
