To promote the use of its EZ-Reload — a feature that automatically tops-up your bank-slash-transport card for a pure and uninterrupted tapping experience — POSB is is giving away free unlimited MRT, LRT and bus rides on all Fridays from Jul 31 until Dec 15.
The offer is for the first 50,000 who activate the built-in feature on their POSB Everday MasterCard or PAssion POSB MasterCard Debit Card.
It’s a cashback programme, though, which means you’ll have to first pay for the rides, and the bank will reverse the charges in the next cycle.
Another 50,000 cardholders who are already signed up with EZ-Reload will also get the free rides on Fridays, according to Channel NewsAsia. That could be you!
“Fare Free Friday” (that’s what this promo is called) is estimated to save users around $15 per month — or around, erm, two pints of beer on happy hour? Cheers to that.
