French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault has expressed interest in both Singapore’s expansion of its MRT network, as well as the KL-Singapore High Speed Rail project.
This was observed during his two-hour meeting with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to discuss ways to strengthen Singapore’s bilateral cooperation with France.
According to Channel NewsAsia, the two prime ministers reviewed the strategic partnership between both countries and tasked their foreign ministers to do an annual review of the partnership.
Mr. Lee will be visiting Poland from Oct. 30 through Nov. 1.
