A serious collision involving two trailers, a bus, and a car near Woodlands Checkpoint this morning left 26 people in hospital, The Straits Times reported.
Around 6.15am at 21 Woodlands Crossing, a bus was not able to brake in time and crashed into the back of a trailer, which in turn pushed forward a car in front. The car was then crushed in between the trailer at its rear and another one in front of it.
The Fabrications About The PAP Facebook page noted that the bus was a chartered vehicle from Johor that had been sending Malaysian workers to a factory in Kaki Bukit.
The ST report indicated that there were no life-threatening injuries, despite the accident involving four vehicles. The bus driver and his 25 passengers were taken to hospital, with most of them suffering minor injuries. Others involved in the crash weren’t injured.
The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) partially closed a lane at Woodlands Crossing at 8am due to the accident. The lane was reopened two hours later, at 10:15am.
