Four arrested for attempting to sell forged ZoukOut tickets

Police have arrested four people suspected of selling and/or attempting to sell forged tickets during the ZoukOut weekend.

On the morning of Dec. 14, police picked up two suspicious-looking men aged 24 and 29 at Siloso Beach — in their possession were more than 260 tickets, believed to be forged. About 310 tickets plus a rubber stamp were later discovered to be linked to the two. The duo had not managed to sell any tickets before the arrest.

Later that evening, a 46-year-old man was arrested at the same event, shortly after someone had lodged a police report. A 29-year-old suspected accomplice was later picked up at Geylang Road — the two had already sold some tickets before and had between them about 30 fake tickets at time of arrest.
