Former part-time teacher of NTUC My First Skool in Toa Payoh Lorong 4 Block 192 Siti Hadijah Mohamed Sin, was charged on Jan. 21 for abusing a child.
The 51-year-old was accused of ill-treating the then two-year-old boy by first grabbing him and then forcefully hauling him two times on the floor in July last year.
The boy fractured his left shin as a result.
In a CCTV video that went viral, the boy was seen to have difficulty walking properly after standing up from the fall.
Siti is out on a $5,000 bail and her case will be heard by the court again on Feb. 18.
If convicted, she may be imprisoned for up to four years and fined $4,000.
