A post has gone absurdly viral on Facebook, with over 12,000 folks sharing a foreign worker’s handwritten plea for help to find his lost wallet. With it, the poor guy lost his work permit card, his ATM card, his company punch card, and his dormitory punch card — all of which are important documents for any migrant worker to make a living here.
And perhaps it was his polite, genuine appeal for assistance (note the “Hi Frieands”) that resonated with so many people. The post went up on Wednesday, so hopefully good ol’ Elangovan found his valuables by now.
