The Force Awakens at Changi Airport this November

There’s been an awakening of The Force alright, and the only cure is more Star Wars hype. Luckily for us fanboys, the hype is real right here in Changi Airport.

All the way from the snowy tundras of Hoth comes a proper, life-sized X-Wing, which will be landing here for a refuelling stop at Terminal 3 on Nov 12. Coincidentally, a TIE fighter of the New Order will also be on display at Changi Airport — but it’ll only be a scale model at Terminal 2.

Pilots of the Rebel Alliance will be marching alongside Imperial Stormtroopers in a one-of-a-kind launch parade on Nov 12 as well. They’re heralding the biggest display — an ANA aircraft fully decked out in R2-D2 livery, which will be making a two-night stopover at the airport.

For something that you can actually take home, Star Wars plush toys are up for redemption with purchases in the airport or their online store, with a minimum purchase of $70 — more details on the Silverkris website.

In case you’re not sick of watching the trailer for the upcoming film yet, here it is:
