Fire at The Arcadia’s carpark, one Audi damaged

Fire broke out yesterday morning at the carpark of one of Singapore’s wonders, The Arcadia condominium on Adam Road, whose lush vertical landscaping and garden terrace on every floor was inspired by the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Some 40 residents of the much sought-after address had to evacuate when “the blaze occurred at about 6.45am near a resting room for chauffeurs of condominium residents,” reports The Straits Times. No humans were reported injured, but the front of an Audi car was damaged, as was a section of the carpark entrance.
