Severed finger delays Tigerair flight

It’s a scene straight out of a body horror flick — an air stewardess on a Tigerair flight from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore stumbled upon what appeared to be a severed finger during her cleaning rounds in the aircraft last Thursday.

The flight was subsequently delayed for two hours at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), according to The Sun as the air crew alerted police, who deployed their forensic unit to investigate the case.

The dismembered digit turned out to be prosthetic finger, believed to have been accidentally left behind by a passenger on an earlier flight.

The flight resumed a while later after the police gave the all-clear, and landed safely in Singapore at 8:28pm the same day.
