Fiji Airways to kick off direct flights between Singapore and Fiji islands tomorrow

Stunning sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, tropical climates and jungle waterfalls, the Fiji islands are probably one of the top places to decompress — and now residents in Singapore will have direct access to them for the holidays.

Fiji Airway’s first direct flight from Changi Airport all the way to Fiji’s Nadi International Airport will kick off tomorrow morning, getting passengers to and fro the country’s archipelago of over 330 islands.

Fiji’s national airline announced plans last year to commence twice weekly direct services to Singapore, a 10-hour flight on their A330 aircraft.

“This is a significant milestone for Changi Airport, with Fiji Airways’ new service bridging new direct links between Singapore and the South Pacific Islands,” said Changi Airport Group CEO Lee Seow Hiang.

“For travellers in Singapore as well as other parts of Asia and Europe, this development makes accessible to them new and exciting holiday destinations in the South Pacific.”
