Kids fighting on the street? That’s nothing new in Singapore.
A scuffle broke out on Cuscaden Road in the early hours of the morning on Feb. 25, in a recent video that has been circulating online.
The video was uploaded on social media with the caption “Sigh yp these days, hope he’s not dead.” ‘Yp” refers to young people – like the ones involved in this brawl.
Apparently, more than seven people were involved in a heated exchange before punches were thrown and more shouting and shoving happened.
At some point in the video, a man was shoved to the ground but three others continued to hit and punch him. One of the men in the group also appeared to kick him as he lay on the ground.
He remained unmoving on the ground after being struck multiple times.
While the altercation was taking place, a woman involved in the fight was shoved from the back and fell to the ground. However, she got up and continued brawling.
The police were alerted of the incident at 2:50am.
At the moment, the police said a 20-year-old man is assisting with investigations. The cause of the fight and the condition of the man on the ground is still unknown.
