Egads, Singtel customers in Bukit Timah, Holland and Pasir Panjang were deprived of super-fast internet speeds yesterday night when plumbing works broke some fibre connections.
According to Singtel, their customers faced difficulties accessing their ADSL and fibre broadband, as well as fixed line voice and Singtel TV services some time after 8pm. Repair works were carried out and were finally completed at 1am.

Apparently, the disruption affected rival telcos M1 and StarHub as well — customers in Clementi, Bukit Timah and Ayer Rajah faced difficulties with their fibre broadband, fibre TV and home phone line.
