The house temple at 40 Jalan Gaharu lit ablaze in the morning of Nov. 17, killing a father and son.
The other occupants, 63-year-old priest Madam Ng and two Filipino tenants, were rushed to the National University Hospital.
Madam Ng’s relative reportedly told TODAY that the father had run out of the burning building to save his son, but neither emerged alive.
The fire, which took firefighters half an hour to put out, seems to have destroyed the entire single-storey bungalow — only a golden religious statue and several valuables including two big metal safes have been recovered.
