A man was found dead at the foot of Fairmont Singapore on Sunday morning after he was believed to have fallen from height.
The Straits Times reported that the 66-year-old casualty was a hotel guest at Fairmont Singapore, and the police were alerted to the incident at 11:09am. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
A passerby who spoke to ST stated that she heard a loud crash while entering Raffles City Shopping Centre before she noticed other people heading towards the bloodied body of the man.
Channel NewsAsia reported that the man fell from the hotel. A spokesman for the hotel informed the publication that they are fully cooperating with the authorities on investigations into the incident.
