Monday morning brought an absolute torrent of rain across most parts of Singapore today — the downpours were heavy enough to cause flash floods in several areas.
Most of the flooding was contained in the eastern part of the island, according to updates by the Public Utilities Board (PUB). A series of tweets warned the public about flash floods at Upper Changi Road, Jalan Nipah, Arumugam Road, Tampines Avenue 12, Bedok North Avenue 4, and Sims Avenue.
