Expect maximum of 34°C in first half of September

It is just us or has it been scorching hot since yesterday?

Slap on the sun cream, bring out the sunnies and start wearing really short shorts for the next two weeks as Singapore says plays host to temperatures of up to 34°C.

According to the National Environment Agency, the Little Red Dot could experience slight to moderate hazy conditions as periods of consecutive dry days are expected.

But there will be respites: Short-duration thundery showers are likely every three to five days, mostly in the late morning and early afternoon.

“In addition, thundery showers with gusty winds due to Sumatra squalls can be expected on one or two days in the morning,” NEA said.
