Sorry, Twilight fans — Nikki Read, who played Rosalie Hale in the top grossing vampire movie series, isn’t starring in Kelvin Tong’s Hollywood horror film The Faith of Anna Waters, as expected.
The lead character will instead be played by Mad Men actress Elizabeth Rice.
The Faith of Anna Waters is about crime reporter Jamie Waters (Rice), who travels to Singapore — the entire movie will be shot here in the next two months — to investigate her sister’s death, accidentally unfolding a series of other suicides involving videos and biblical references.
It apparently costs over $6 million to make, and also stars Matthew Settle (Gossip Girl) and local actors Adrian Pang and Jaymee Ong.
