An elderly motorist faced a Sunday morning shocker yesterday when the green Chevrolet he was driving flipped over during an accident.

Though unclear how the accident occured, the collision near the junction of Upper Serangoon Road and Barley Road involved another car, The Straits Times reports.

Police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were alerted to the incident after 9.36am. The 77-year-old motorist from the flipped vehicle was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital in stable condition.
