This episode of Why would you put that on the internet? comes courtesy of a band of drunken travelers and a flight attendant partying in the air.

Singaporean budget airline Scoot said it was investigating the intoxicated episode involving two topless and maskless men and a member of its flight crew. It surfaced in a recent TikTok video filmed aboard a passenger jet, though it was not clear it was airborne at the time.

“Scoot treats the safety and well-being of passengers and crew with utmost importance. We are aware of the edited video posted to social media, and are investigating to ascertain the facts,” its statement said.

The now-deleted video posted by TikToker Zabination showed an air stewardess posing for the camera and 12 mini bottles of white wine on a table. She tries to shush two topless, maskless, and gregarious White men who are clearly drunk and dancing in their seats. There did not appear to be anyone else on the flight.

The TikToker had not responded to a message seeking comment as of publication time.

Most of the comments pointed to how the video was “peak moronic” and detrimental to the air stewardess, who knew she was being filmed, as it could potentially get her sacked.

After this story was published, Zabination, aka Marcin Zabinski, told Coconuts the video was made for fun, and he took it down after a day to “protect” the stewardess from the “many disgusting comments.” He added that the video had been watched more than 600,000 times in one day.

Zabinski said that Scoot had heard from the stewardess and said it was not true the airline was investigating, without elaborating or identifying himself.

“This video was just for entertainment purposes. The news are fake. Scoot already accepted the explanation from the stewardess,” he wrote in a message.

Update: This story has been updated with a response from the video’s creator.
