Drunk on four glasses of whiskey up in the air, Indian national Kizhakkumkkara Thomas Ajeesh started to harass the crew members of his SilkAir flight.
Unfortunately, his behaviour got even worse — he refused to fasten his seat belt, annoyed other passengers around him and even touched a flight stewardess’ breasts. What a wreck.
TODAY reports that 31-year-old Kizhakkumkkara has since been sentenced to nine months in jail for using criminal force to outrage the modesty of a crew member, as well as disrupting order in his drunken binge.
His string of offences occured on Sept 9, when he was travelling from Trivandrum, India to Singapore. The four glasses of whiskey had already pushed him into an intoxicated mess, and the supervising cabin attendant told crew members not to serve him anymore liquor.
However, he persisted and kept heading to the back galley to ask for whiskey. A particularly annoyed passenger even requested to change his seat because of Kizhakkumkkara’s actions.
Later on, when the seat belt sign was turned on, he refused to fasten his seat belt despite repeated requests from the cabin crew. What he did was asked for more alcoholic drinks instead.
His horrible antics came to an ugly apex when he returned to the back galley and brushed his hand across the chest of a stewardess. The victim screamed for him to stop, and another passenger also started shouting at the drunken man as well. A report was later lodged at Changi Airport.
