Drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline setting up regional headquarters in Singapore

British pharmaceuticals company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) says it will soon be conducting its Asia operations out of a Singapore office located in One North.

According to The Business Times, the company has signed an agreement with Boustead Development Partnership to develop and lease a new building in the Rochester Park area, which will house some 600 employees by late 2017.

The eight-storey building will span 15,000 sq. m., which will run GSK’s pharmaceuticals, vaccines and consumer healthcare businesses, all growing in importance in this region.
