Some people try to flirt their way out of arrest, but not one man who thought he could just sleep it off.

Traffic police officers struggled to wake a driver after his car plowed through at least three motorbikes in a parking lot. Even after being shouted at, the driver threw multiple elbow punches, a video clip of the encounter shows, and refused to budge.

“You better wake up!” the uniformed officer was heard saying, to replies of gibberish from the driver, who appears heavily intoxicated.

“Driver seems to be very sleepy and doesn’t want to be disturbed,” the page dedicated to all things Singapore traffic said in the video caption. The video didn’t show how the crash happened but included a still image of the damaged bikes pinned by the car’s bumper.

It’s unclear from the video where the incident took place.
