It is believed that the man, captured above in Yahoo! Singapore‘s coverage of the first day of public mourning, is Mr. Isa, who made alternative news headlines recently.

Mr. Isa, who’s missing a leg, is known for peddling tissue paper at the Simpang Bedok food centre.

Mr. Isa joined hundreds of Singaporeans this morning in a queue outside the Parliament House that snaked across Fullerton and spilled onto Circular Road, to pay their final respects to former Singapore Prime Minister Mr. Lee Kuan Yew.

Reports say the average waiting time to enter the Parliament House right now is 2.5 hours.
